The Statue Walk is located in a pleasant parkland setting along the downtown shore of the Élővíz Canal in Békéscsaba, from István Mill to Árpád Bath. The park features works by renowned artists that commemorate famous personalities associated with Békéscsaba.

Starting from Gőzmalom Square and crossing the bridge, the first statue is the statue of András L. Áchim , a peasant politician and representative born in Békéscsaba .

The next statue commemorates András Lipták, the first mayor of Békéscsaba.

The third statue, located a few meters away, commemorates the city's Lutheran pastor, former historian, and corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Lajos Haán .

The fourth statue depicts the painter Mihály Munkácsy.

The next statue depicts  the tragically deceased Géza Gyóni (journalist, poet) .

The statue of writer Attila József was placed in the second half of the promenade .

Heading from Gőzmalom Square, the sixth statue  commemorates the work of  writer Zsigmond Móricz .

The two statues on the side of the Statue Walk facing the Árpád Bath pay tribute to the composers Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály .

The final figure of the Statue Walk is the statue of Miklós Borsos entitled “The Muse”, erected in 1981.
