We find the Slovak Country House on Garay street. This traditional residential building, restored to meet strict historic preservation standards, has been operating as a museum; the permanent exhibition showcases the lifestyle and culture of a well-to-do Slovak farmer. According to local legend, the chest located at the foot of the four-poster bed in the house’s parlor was painted by Mihály Munkácsy, but the other pieces of furniture, which are distinctly local in style, are also quite remarkable.
