We find the Fairy Tale House on Békési Road. As soon as we enter, an amazing sight unfolds before us: a selection of the fabulous, beautifully decorated sculptures from the decades-long career of Mihály Schéner—receipient of the Munkácsy and Kossuth Prizes, and a Meritorious and Distinguished Artist—is on display. The other permanent exhibition is a pottery workshop evoking old Csaba traditions, compiled from the estate of János Ványai, a former master potter from Békéscsaba.
Family craft workshops are organized before important days (Carnival, Easter, Mother's Day, Advent preparations); and jazz bands regularly perform on Jazz Thursday.
