Csaba sausage and CsabaPark

When most people hear the name Békéscsaba, the first thing that comes to mind is sausage and the Csaba Sausage Festival. Csaba sausage is a world-famous Hungarian delicacy, and the Sausage Festival, which preserves the sausage-making traditions, is the largest gastronomic event in the region. 

CsabaPark is a gastro-tourism event center that preserves, nurtures and presents the traditions of making Csaba sausage, and is the venue for the Csaba Sausage Festival.

Restaurant 

The restaurant  awaits gourmets with a wide range of traditional Csaba dishes (e.g. sausage, sausages, gypsy sausage, kiszely soup).

Giant's Kitchen Theme Park

The “Giants' Kitchen” is a curiosity of CsabaPark. The theme park provides special entertainment for both young and old. 

Inn building, Wine Museum, Pálinka Museum

In CsabaPark, coming from Körte sor, there is a reception building, where those arriving here can have a refreshing drink in the buffet and enjoy the green terrace with the most intimate atmosphere in the city. The Wine Museum presents the traditions of grape growing and winemaking with interactive tools, and in the 330 m2 modernly equipped Pálinka Museum, we can learn about the secrets of pálinka production.

Educational trails, fitness park

The forest trails in the 43-hectare CsabaPark area, which can be explored on foot or by bicycle, provide an opportunity to get to know the wildlife of the park forest. In addition to the hiking trails, covered rest areas and benches serve as a place for visitors to rest and relax. In addition, an outdoor fitness park and a 4km-long track covered with rekortan await guests who want to relax and exercise.

KolBus tour 

The KolBusz is an electric minibus with the style of a sausage, which operates on Saturdays and Sundays during the spring and summer periods, on pre-announced occasions, from the Körte sori buffet. Tickets can be purchased at the Körte sori buffet.
The minibus can be rented for groups.
