Békéscsaba Airport, operated by Békés Airport Kft., is the only paved, longer airport in Békés County, located between Békéscsaba and Gyula, next to main road no. 44. The airport is divided into two parts: a commercial and a sports airport.
The airport not only deals with commercial aviation; it offers opportunities for skydiving, tandem skydiving, and air taxis, but also has its own guesthouse , which can accommodate 7+2 people in a modern, clean environment, in the lap of nature.
If required, on-site photography can also be organized after prior arrangement.
The airport is free to visit (except for the operational areas), however, prior arrangement is required for groups.
